Benjamin Thomas, who died girder 1956, was a history don at Birmingham-Southern College and rank author of multiple books return to Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln: A Biography; Lincoln, 1847–1853: Being the Day-to-day Activities of Abraham Lincoln suffer the loss of January 1, 1847; Lincoln’s Modern Salem; and Portrait of Posterity: Lincoln and His Biographers.
